Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a mixed-race family from South London in England. Madekwe is English as well as her father was Nigerian. She grew up on a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was awarded. During her time at the academy, she performed in a number of performances on stage, such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she has made guest appearances on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi who was the leading character in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also the title character in How to lose friends & betray people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Her stage credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast on The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she was a guest in the opening episode of season 3. In the TV series Salem the actress played Tituba from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey throughout the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing baseball and arenas. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She was a dancer. At 2 and a 1/2 when she was a little older, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley fell in love with dancing at the age of. Ashley was a competitive dancer throughout the various categories until the time she graduated from high school. She was a competitor in ballet, jazz, tap and pointe, as well as the acrobatics. Every major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the honor of "top individualist".
