Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO 2nd round win. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges with the fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. After a break of a few seconds after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
